Eric R. Suarez is a graduate of the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law and is pending admission to the Maryland State Bar. He has served as the president of the Latina/o Law Students Association where he led a group of students to volunteer at the Baltimore Immigration Court handing out information to families of Unaccompanied Minors crossing the U.S.-Mexican border. Mr. Suarez has served as a legal intern with the State of Maryland and with a local area hospital and was served the deaf community as a Rule 16 Attorney with the law school’s Civil Rights of Persons with Disabilities Clinic.
Mr. Suarez was born in Cuba and emigrated with his family to the United States at age 7. He is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University and The Honors College at Miami Dade College. Mr. Suarez is proud to be one of the longest serving members of our team and has been working for Maryland’s immigrants as a staunch advocate for immigrant’s rights.
